Tanasi Outdoors is the next chapter of On The Fly Excursions and Spotted Dog Outfitters. After years of working together, the two companies merged on 2026 to form Tanasi Outdoors. You’ll find the same experienced guides, the same boats, and the same commitment to exceptional days on the water.
The Tanasi brand brings everything together under one name, combining our trusted guide services with a growing line of technical apparel built for anglers and outdoor enthusiasts who spend their lives outside.
“We built our companies over the years with one shop and 2 guide services. Tanasi is the next step — still guiding, but also broadening our shop locations. We are excited to offer more gear, apparel, and guide service for the communities we’ve fished alongside for years.”

We practice catch-and-release with rubber-coated nets and wet-hand handling techniques. If a client wanted to keep a few fish on our public water trips, we encourage them to only keep enough for 1 meal.
Every guide is fully licensed, first-aid & cpr certified, and insured. We don’t just know the water and fishing techniques; we also understand the safety protocols required for a worry-free day on the river, ensuring your adventure is both fun and secure.
Born from long days on the water, our apparel line is designed by anglers for the specific environmental demands of the river. From technical hoodies that shed spray to low-profile headwear, we build what we use.
